Admin controls will begin rolling out before the end user functionality to create custom emojis is available.
How to create custom emoji?
Open Google Chat
Open a Chat or Spaces > click emoji icon
Upload image from computer or Drive
Name your emoji
Save
Enjoy your emoji!
Availability:
Available to all Google Workspace Business customers.
Timeline:
Rapid Release domains: Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting on November 8, 2022 Scheduled Release domains: Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting on November 30, 2022
