In Google Meet you can now use emojis to share in-meeting reactions. These reactions are available when using Google Meet on Web, Meet Hardware devices, and iOS (with Android coming soon).
In-meeting reactions provide a lightweight, non-disruptive way to engage and participate in meetings without interrupting the speaker. This new feature is useful if you (as an organizer) want to ask for example attendees` opinions or feelings quickly.
How to add reaction? To share a reaction, select the smile icon in the control bar (the bottom bar of the meeting window) to get the reaction bar.
Availability: Available to all customers.
Timeline: Rapid and Scheduled Release domains: Full rollout (1-3 days for feature visibility) starting on January 16, 2023.
