12.1.2023 I Google Meet

Last year Google introduced the ability to control Google Slides presentations directly in Google Meet. With this new feature you can now view your speaker notes within Google Meet. If you are using this feature, notice that the speaker notes are visible to you only. Other attendees can not see the notes.

How to present Google Slides presentation and view the speaker notes in Google Meet?

  1. In a Chrome tab or window, open the Slides file you want to present.

  2. In a different Chrome window, open the meeting.

  3. At the bottom of the meeting screen, click Present now > A Tab. Then select the tab with the Slides presentation > click Share.

  4. In Google, at the bottom right of the screen, click Start slideshow.

  5. To view the speaker notes click the new speaker notes button in the Slides controls bar in Meet to display your speaker notes within the call.

Availability: Available to Google Workspace Business Standard and up.
