You can now choose a RSVP join method based on where you work (see previous update below about working locations), whether that’s joining from a particular meeting room or virtually from home. With the new RSVP option, Google Calendar automatically updates how you plan to join the meeting if your working location changes. So the feature works best if you keep your working location up to date. In addition, your colleagues and the organizer of the event can now see your working place or your out-of-office status directly from the participant list of the calendar event.

Availability: 

Available for Google Workplace Business Standard and up.

Timeline:
Rapid Release: Full rollout starting on August 10, 2022.
Scheduled Release: Extended rollout starting on August 17, 2022.
