10/22 Encouraging Working Location coverage across organizations

To help coordinate in-office time with others, your administrator may ask you to set your working location.
This setting adds a customizable banner to users’ Calendar either encouraging or requiring them to set up their working location. 

The banners feature will be OFF by default and can be enabled in Admin Console by navigating to
Apps > Google Workspace > Calendar > Sharing settings > Working location banner section.

Availability: Available to Google Workspace Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Plus, Education Standard, and the Teaching and Learning Upgrade, as well as legacy G Suite Business customers 

Timeline: 

Rapid Release: Extended rollout starting on October 17, 2022. 

Scheduled Release: Gradual rollout starting on October 31, 2022.
