19.7.2022 I Google Docs

Do you feel like you are not keeping up with shared projects? With a new update, Google Docs enables file-specific email notifications of changes made in files. You can choose from which file you want to monitor edits or comments made by other users, and choose whether you want to receive notifications about only edits, comments or both. Notification settings are automatically turned off but you can turn them on from two different places (Gmail & Google Docs). A simple way is to first open the file where you would like to get the notifications, then open the comment history from the top right and press the bell icon. From that menu, you can choose the type of notification you want.

Notifications can also be turned off from Gmail if you wish to no longer receive notifications.
