4/22 Set up host controls and assign co-hosts ahead of meetings in Google Calendar

You have to organize a complex meeting. Calm down! Now you can prepare your meeting safety features and co-hosts settings in advance in Google Calendar. This helps you to focus on meetings' agenda. Set up Google Meet breakout rooms, turn meeting safety features such as chat lock, present lock on or off and Designate co-hosts before the meeting. Then you are ready to go.

To configure host control and co-host options when scheduling a meeting in Google Calendar, select “Add Google Meet video conferencing” > “Video call options” (gear icon) > Host controls or Co-hosts.

Availability:

Moderation Settings to all customers

Co-host Settings are NOT available to Google Workspace Business Starter, Frontline, and Nonprofits, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers
